This morning I awoke to my normal routine: yoga, meditation and Yerba Mate tea - followed by email checking. That is when I discovered my funny gag gift book: Legs Talk: A Modern Girl's Dating Tale was a finalist in the USA Book News Award in the category of Gift and Specialty.
Amazingly the winners and finalist was announced in October while I was away in Thailand. So I didn't even know my book was finalist until today.
It is great to know that people actually enjoy my little get over a break up gem. It is my way of saying, “Girl it is okay to laugh at your bad relationships.” I know break ups can destroy us, I just wanted to create a book that pokes fun at break ups. Apparently the folks at USA Book News agrees.
